Neighbourhood picnic - it's that time of year again

Our annual end of summer neighbourhood picnic in the park

When: Sunday, September 9th
Time: 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm
Where: our little park
What to bring: a dish to share

This is an awesome tradition for our little neighbourhood. Let's keep it rolling. There are a lot of new neighbours this year, so if you know of someone who doesn't recieve the blog or isn't sure of what to do, clue them in. Everyone is welcome and we want to pack the park.

TIME FOR THE NEIGHBOURHOOD BIKE RIDE

It's short notice, but it's that time of the year again - the neighbourhood community bike ride. All level of riders welcome, we're not experts. We will be riding on trails, off the road so that everyone can be safe.

When: Sunday, August 19
Time: 10:30 am
Where: Meet outside of Kulsum and Rahim's at 300 David Dunlap

What are we going to do?

Cycle through the Don Valley park to the waterfront and back. We'll cycle as a group. Meet up at Tim Hortons at 829 Lake Shore Blvd E, Toronto, ON M4M 1B2

END OF SUMMER NEIGHBOURHOOD PICNIC COMING SOON

4TH ANNUAL END OF SUMMER NEIGHBOURHOOD PICNIC FAST APPROACHING

DATE: SEPT 17
TIME: 12:00 TO 4:00
PLACE: GREENBELT PARK (in the centre of our little community)

We'll try to get the firetruck back this year. This is a potluck party so everyone bring a dish to share.

If anyone wants to make up games, etc for the kids, looking for volunteers.

Signs will go up the weekend of the 9th. If you're new to the neighbourhood or you know of new neighbours, make sure everyone knows about the picnic.

It's the 2nd Annual English Lane Garage Sale!

Last year's sale was so much fun that we're doing it again. We've started the advertising, you just need to tell you neighbours to join in this time around and start your clean up

Saturday, June 10th, 8am - 4pm, Rain or Shine!

Register soon, its $10 which includes ALL advertising, the colourful helium balloons
to put on your railing and a whole lot of fun for the neighbourhood!

We have new neighbours in the 'hood

Hi everyone and Happy New Year.

Hard to believe that it's 2017 all ready. Over the holiday season I met several new people to the neighbourhood, an I'm sure you did too. Please introduce them to our blog and get them to start following. In the new year I'll be looking for another way to contact everyone as the email provider has gotten too expensive to use. In the meantime, please check back for posts and info.

I need a new home.

Silvano and Kimberley da Ros, who's home backs onto the park, have stepped into help a friend but Kimberley suffers from alergic asthma and they can't keep their new house guest. A lovely little dog is looking for a new home. A friend of their's who's 8 year old dog needs a new home (temporarily or permanently depending on your ability). If you are interested, they'd like to speak with your.

They've taken her in as of last night to help a little but it's not going well with Kimberley's asthma so need help asap.
